<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet image forming apparatus where, even if a recycling carrier liquid is used, the quality of the image to be formed is not deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: A carrier liquid added to preparation pots 26Y, 26C, 26M, 26BK in respective liquid developing devices 7Y to 7BK is a recycling liquid. The carrier liquid is extracted from a liquid developer by a carrier liquid extraction means 12. The one with particularly high purity (with an impurity concentration of≤0.1%) in the extracted carrier liquid is added to the preparation pot 26Y in the liquid developing device 7Y for yellow, and the one with a purity slightly inferior to that (the one with an impurity concentration of >0.1 to 0.5%) is added to the preparation pots 26C, 26M, 26BK in the liquid developing devices 7C, 7M, 7BK for cyan, magenta, black. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
