PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-shake correcting device for suppressing the drive of a movable part, in a state in which accurate tracking of the movable part for image-shake correction processing cannot be performed. SOLUTION: The image-shake correcting device is used for an imaging device having an imaging means and is provided with the movable part and a control part for controlling, to move the movable part for the image-shake correction processing, up to the time point enabling next imaging operation in the imaging device, after a release switch has been switched on. The control part switches off movement control of the movable part when the movable part is brought into contact with a movement range end under a certain condition, up to the time that enables the next imaging operation in the imaging device, after a release switch has been switched on. The certain condition means where the movable part is brought into contact with both the ends of the movement range of a first direction of the movable part (X(-)=1 and X(+)=1), or the movable part is brought into contact with both the ends of the movement range of a second direction that is vertical to the first direction of the movable part (Y(-)=1 and Y(+)=1).
