PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel conversion device built in for displaying an image on the liquid crystal panel in a liquid crystal display device, wherein the image can be displayed with resolution of an input image expanded and reduced according to that of a liquid crystal panel, and output resolution can easily be changed over as well. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a change-over switch, by which the device can be used only by using the change-over switch without changing the device itself, even if the specification of the resolution of the liquid crystal panel connected to the pixel conversion device is changed. Since only one pixel conversion device can be applied to different display devices and especially, can easily be applied to the liquid crystal display device for game machines, the device can greatly contribute to cost reduction.
