PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug with a built-in sensor, capable of thinning a diameter of an outer shape of the glow plug, while widening a cross-sectional area of a core wire of a heater electrifying lead wire, in the glow plug with the built-in sensor formed into a form of taking out both a sensor connecting line and the heater electrifying lead wire from a base end side of the glow plug, and sealed liquid-tightly using a grommet. SOLUTION: This glow plug 100 is provided with a heater member 120, three heater power lead wires 170 extended in an axally AX base end side, a sensor part 140 for detecting combustion pressure in an internal combustion engine, the sensor connecting wire 175 connected to the sensor part 140 to be extended in the axially AX base end side, a housing 120, a sensor part enveloping cylinder 160, and the grommet 190 having insertion through holes 190H inserted respectively with the heater power lead wires 170 and the sensor connection line 175, for closing liquid-tightly a base end part 160k of the sensor part enveloping cylinder 160, and for holding liquid-tightly the heater power lead wire 170 and the sensor connecting line 175.
