PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee bolster easily assemblable, easily installable onto a vehicle, and adjustable in responsiveness to an impact load. SOLUTION: The knee bolster is provided with a curvature bracket installed on a corresponding cross beam in the vehicle. A knee panel member is installed on the curvature bracket at a separate position from the cross beam. The knee panel member is provided with a wall separated from the curvature bracket, and extended along the width of the vehicle, and a plurality of support legs extended between the wall and the curvature bracket.
