PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting apparatus capable of continuously obtaining high-quality cast products. SOLUTION: The casting apparatus 1 is provided with: a closable vessel 2 for storing a molten metal (b); a tapping hole 3 for tapping the molten metal (b) in the vessel 2; a melt guide part 4 for guiding the molten metal (b) from the vessel 2 to the tapping hole 3; and a gas supply device 20 for discharging the molten metal (b) in the vessel 2 from the tapping hole 3 by supplying a pressure gas into the vessel 2. A mold 11 is installed in the tapping hole 3, and the molten metal (b) is discharged to be pressure-poured in the mold 11 by operating the gas supply device 20. The apparatus is further provided with a melt holder 5 for holding the molten metal (b) to be supplied to the vessel 2.
