The air vent has fins (7) with coaxial trunnions (8, 9) housed in respective notches (10, 11). The trunnions are integrated with connecting rods (14a-14d) carrying guide pins (15). The pins are housed in guide tracks arranged in a control unit (17) mounted rotating on a body between two end positions. The tracks are designed such that the rods allow the fins to move from an open end position to a closed end position, when the unit moves between end positions. The fins are in close contact with each other and completely close an outlet (6) of a pipe, when the fins are in their closed position.
