An apparatus for calculating the weight of food for a microwave oven is provided to allow the food to be automatically cooked according to cooking data and allow a user to cook the food without inputting the cooking data again. An apparatus for calculating the weight of food for a microwave oven includes a key panel(20) and a microcomputer(10). The microwave oven performs the cooking of the food according to cooking data set in accordance with the weight of the food. The key panel is used to input various figures and operators. After performing calculation according to the figures and operators inputted from the key panel and determining the result value, the microcomputer performs the cooking of the food by automatically setting the cooking data according to the result value. The key panel further includes a unit converting key. The unit converting key converts the unit of the result value. |
