The transparent absorber for solar collectors is made of a transparent material pervious to solar energy, the latter being directly absorbed by the working fluid flowing therethrough. The absorber consists of a single-chamber polycarbonate sheet (1) with a painted back wall or glued reflective foil (2), a top and a bottom collector (3) of aluminium or polycarbonate U-profile, working fluid inlet and outlet union nipples (4), and a rubber or silicon seal.
