摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of reducing hoop stress acting on an outside diameter of an inner wheel, and securing sufficiently bearing strength without increasing the thickness of the inner wheel in a radial direction and a width direction. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a plurality of arrays of rolling elements 5 intervened between trajectory faces 3 and 4 of an outer member 1 and an inner member 2. The inner member comprises a hub wheel 9 having a solid shaft 9b and a flange 9a, and two inner wheels 10A, 10B pressure-fit in the outer periphery of the shaft and having trajectory faces on inboard and outboard sides. A hole 9d is formed at the inboard side end face of the shaft, and the width face of the inner wheel on the inboard side is fastened in an axial direction by a clamping part 9e clamping a cylindrical portion of the outer periphery of the hole toward the outside diameter. A straight line L1 extending in a direction perpendicular to a trajectory face from the center of the axial direction on the trajectory face of the inner wheel on the inboard side is located on the inboard side beyond a position P1 crossing with a fitting face between the outer periphery of the hub wheel and the inner wheel, and a bottom position of the hole is positioned on the outboard side beyond the end face on the inboard side of the inner wheel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
