<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where, even in the cast toner is relatively largely consumed at a time, the risk that toner supply to a developing device is not in time can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with: a developing device 25 where toner stored in a toner storage chamber R is fed to a photoreceptor drum, thus an electrostatic latent image formed at the photoreceptor drum is developed, so as to form a toner image; a secondary transferring roller 275 for transferring the toner image to recording paper P; a conveyance mechanism 50 for conveying the recording paper P to the secondary transferring roller 275; and an interpaper setting part 61 for increasing interpaper time T as a spacing between recording paper P conveyed to the secondary transferring roller 275 by the conveyance mechanism 50 and the following recording paper P in accordance with the increase of the printing ratio in image data, and reducing the same in accordance with the reduction of the printing ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
