DIVING COMPUTER WITH HEART RATE MONITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diving computer, including the function of a heart rate monitor.

SOLUTION: The heart rate monitor is achieved by a belt worn around the chest of a diver, and its information is radio-transmitted to the diving computer. The heart rate information may be displayed either during or after diving. The diving computer may selectively utilize monitored heart rate information to correct pressure reduction algorithm based on work load during diving. The diving computer may also correct the pressure reduction algorithm based on on-water work load before and/or after diving concerning computation for flight prohibition and repeated diving.
