<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building component member which contributes to improvement in multifaced comfortability of the interior of a room from the viewpoints of room temperature, spaciousness, and design. <P>SOLUTION: The building component member is formed of: first and second transparent layers which are each made of a transparent member and separated away from each other; and a plurality of latent heat storage materials arranged in a space between the first and second transparent layers in a manner being partitioned from each other.
