<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access control system that can control access by issuing cards to visitors even if reception is unattended. <P>SOLUTION: The access control system has a visitor information input apparatus for receiving the input of visitor data identifying a visitor, a card issuance instruction apparatus for receiving and displaying the visitor data output from the visitor information input apparatus and receiving the input of instruction data representing whether or not to permit card issue from a terminal of a facility to visit, and a card issuing apparatus for writing permission data permitting access to a recording medium in a card when receiving the instruction data permitting card issue from the card issue instruction apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
