<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector having a stop projection portion on one side thereof, which prevents a cover from deforming and being damaged by continuous force. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector comprises a top board 13 with a plurality of buckling portions and two sides each having a bearing hole; a sustaining frame 14 connected with the top board 13; a spring hole provided on the one side of the top board 13; a cover 12 having a circular arc rim 17 and two end portions pivotably mounted in the bearing holes of the top board 13, and a spring connected with the spring hole of top board 13 and providing an elasticity to the cover 12. A brake projection portion 20 extends to the one side of the sustaining frame 14 corresponding to the circular arc rim 17, and the cover 12 corresponding to the brake projection portion 20 has a receiving notch 22 cooperating with the brake projection portion 20 to effectively stop the cover when the cover 12 is biased to pivot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
