PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having spreading of the magnetization zone of a magnet suppressed and the position accuracy of output that can be improved. SOLUTION: On the outer circumferential surface of the magnet 22 in a drive motor 20, at least a pair of flat surface portions 24a, 24c and at least a pair of curved surface portions 25a, 25c are formed, and the pair of flat surface portions 24a, 24c are located on the opposite sides, while the center O of the magnet 22 is held in between; and the pair of curved surface portions 25a, 25c are located on the opposite sides, while holding the center O of the magnet 22 in between and the portions, corresponding to the pair of curved surface portions 25a, 25c are magnetized in the actuator 10.
