PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control system which enhances a degree of recognition of services which have little use frequency, and in which a user can judge simply whether this system is usable in a communication of this time. SOLUTION: The services usable for each model of communication devices have in advance registered in a working services correlation table 22 of a portable terminal 10 in a communication service selection system 100 (Fig. 1), refers to the working services correlation table 22 by a mating model name upon a transmission to a certain communication mate, extracts services that the communication mate can use of the services usable by the corresponding portable terminal 10, and displays the services as a select screen on a display unit 3 for being selected by the user. The services can be stored in a telephone directory 23, a reception history 24, and a transmission history 25, containing a model name of the communication device of the communication mate. Further, upon a transmission, transmission information to which the model name of the portable terminal 10 is added is sent to the communication mate. A model management server 30 which manages information on the services usable for each model of the communication devices as disclosed information is any time accessed from the portable terminal 10, and register contents are updated in the working services correlation table 22.
