PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a reception-side free from a trouble to confirm a result of print out of each transmitted document by using telephone etc., even after communication ends normally when an important document or urgent document is frequently transmitted and so on. SOLUTION: A communication control unit 9 communicates with an unillustrated transmission destination to control reception of image data, and a printing control unit 7 makes a printer print out the image data received by the communication control unit 9. A printing completion flag 5-3 detects printing completion of the image data, and the communication control unit 9 continues to communicate with the transmission destination until the printing completion flag 5-3 detects the printing completion.
