PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a mounting work of a sound absorption member to be mounted to the outer periphery of a diaphragm of a speaker. SOLUTION: The sound absorption member 100 comprises a main body 10 and an irregular portion 20. The main body 10 is assumed to have, for example, a rectangular parallelepiped shape. The concavo-convex portion 20 comprises convex portions 21 and concave portions 22 which are alternately formed on a plane 11 of the main body 10 from an end (a position corresponding to a plane 14) to an end (a position corresponding to a plane 15). The convex portions 21 and concave portions 22 are assumed to have a shape of, for example, a triangle pole which has bottom faces in planes 12 and 13 of the main body and is formed parallel to one side 11a of the plane 11.
