PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus wherein no sense of incongruity is felt even when both a door mirror and a monitor are in use. SOLUTION: In the driving support apparatus 10 provided with an external field camera 13 provided to a vehicle and capable of photographing a rear side region and a dead angle region at the outside of a visible range of the left door mirror 16L adjacent to the rear side region and a monitor 15 capable of displaying the video image photographed by the external field camera 13 for a driver of the vehicle visibly, the monitor 15 magnifies the video image of the rear side region among the video images photographed by the external field camera 13 and displays the magnified image so that vehicles existing in the rear side region are displayed on the left side mirror 16L and the monitor 15 by nearly the same size.
