PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity adjustment device capable of shortening capacity adjustment time. SOLUTION: In the capacity adjustment device in which capacity adjustment of a plurality of cells C1 to C3 constituting a battery pack is carried out by a prescribed capacity adjustment electric current value and in which fluctuations of charging capacity between the cells is adjusted, CPU103 sets capacity adjustment ability improvement request according to a state of the battery pack (for example, cell voltage distribution state, and using time proportion and capacity deterioration coefficient of battery pack). Then, a prescribed capacity adjustment current value is changed based on the capacity adjustment ability improvement request, and capacity adjustment circuits 12, 22, 33 carry out capacity adjustment by the changed capacity adjustment current value.
