PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent-magnet motor increasing torque produced by the motor, and suppressing the temperature rise of the motor without increasing the length of the motor. SOLUTION: This permanent-magnet motor is constituted of a stator 10 which is provided with a stator iron core 11 having a cylindrical peripheral iron core 15 and teeth iron cores 13a arranged at equal intervals inside the periphery iron core 15, and with armature windings 12 wound around the teeth iron cores 13a via insulation materials 16, and a rotor 20 which is arranged inside the stator 10 having permanent magnets 21 stuck on its surface. In this motor, the peripheral iron core 15 is structured by stacking magnetic steel sheets, while the teeth portion iron cores 13a are formed by the molding of a sintered magnetically soft material or a powdered-iron core.
