PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure converter, capable of improving durability by facilitating switching of a valve, and responding to enlargement by fixing a pressure transfer pipe. SOLUTION: In the pressure converter for transmitting a pressure of a high-pressure side fluid to a low-pressure side fluid through a selector valve and a pressure transfer pipe 1, rotor valves 2A and 2B for switching of the fluid to contact by switching the flow passage to the pressure transfer pipe 1 by rotation are provided on the inflow side and outflow side of the transfer pipe 1.
