PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping bush which can furthermore reduce its spring constant in its forcible bending direction. SOLUTION: The vibration damping bush comprises a rodlike member 1, an outer cylinder 2 surrounding the rodlike member 1, and a first rubbery elastomer 3 for connecting the rodlike member 1 and the outer cylinder 2. The middle portion of the rodlike member 1 in the axial direction J is configured as a spherical bulged portion 4 swelled in the radially outward direction K2. A second rubbery elastomer 13 is provided on the inner peripheral surface 2N of the outer cylinder 2. The inner peripheral surface portion in the inner peripheral surface 13N of the second rubbery elastomer 13 surrounding the bulged portion 4 is formed to be a recess spherical surface 5M which is coaxial with the protruded spherical surface 4M of the bulged portion 4. The first rubbery elastomer 3 is arranged between the protruded spherical surface 4M and the recess spherical surface 5M, and connects the protruded spherical surface 4M and the recess spherical surface 5M.
