PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a container 6, when it is engaged with an engagement blade 24d and stopped, by pressure of a container 6 on the back side. SOLUTION: The containers 6 are continuously carried on three rows of carrying lanes 2A, 2B, 2C of a carrying conveyor 2. Rotary stoppers 14A, 14B, 14C are arranged in the side parts of the carrying lanes 2A, 2B, 2C, respectively. The rotary stoppers 14A, 14B, 14C are freely rotated, and stopper mechanisms 26 to stop the free rotation are provided. The plurality of engagement blades 24d are provided in the circumferential direction on the outer periphery of a rotating wheel 24 at even intervals. By stopping the rotation of the rotating wheel 24 by the stopper mechanism 26, the containers 6 are engaged with the engagement blades 24d and stopped.
