The filling orifices in the top of an accumulator are closed by plugs d which are formed integrally with an extensible strip a made of rubber or rubber-like material. Each plug is formed with vent holes g and is provided with a web e carrying a baffle disc f at its lower end. The strip a has openings corresponding to the holes g. Projections h on the plugs engage in slots j in the sides of the filling openings. The strip may have a knob i to facilitate detachment of the strip from the battery cover. |
