A security window is provided to offer a fire escape path for inhabitants by detecting a fire and opening automatically, and to offer a foothold to inhabitants to escape out of a building through a window or lifesavers to enter a building. A security window for opening automatically for escaping out of a building in an emergency such as a fire comprises a window safety bar unit(11) installed to a wall(2) where a window(1) is installed, a fixing member coupling or separating the window safety bar unit to or from the wall, a sensor sensing whether a fire occurs and transferring signals to the fixing member, and a moving angle limiter such as a folding member(40) or a chain unit limiting the moving angle of the window safety bar unit from the wall at 90 degrees when the window safety bar unit is separated from the fixing member and moved downward, so that people enables to use the window safety bar unit separated from the fixing member and limited to move at 90 degrees from the wall as a foothold for inhabitants to escape out of a building or lifesavers to enter the building easily. |
