<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance apparatus in which a player controls a sounding order of constituting sound in dissonance sound. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 1 reads a musical piece data for indicating a performance content of a chord part from a ROM 2, and sets a tone pitch of constituting sound of a chord which becomes sounding timing, as a candidate pitch. At that time, the constituting sound is classified depending on the chord to be dissonant or not. Keys of a keyboard 4 are divided into groups depending on a white key or not. When the key of the keyboard 4 is pressed by the player, if the pressed key is the white key, the constituting sound selected from the constituting sound of a classification related to the white key, is sounded. If the key is a black key, the constituting sound selected from the constituting sound of a classification related to the black key, is sounded.
