摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment such as an amplifier which is free from problems of thermal noise and can highly efficiently amplify even an input signal in a high frequency range or a switching device capable of switching with high responsiveness by a control signal in a high frequency domain. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has an output part 30, a bias power source 40, an electron emitting device 60, a control signal application part 70, and a driving voltage application part 80. The electron emitting device 60 has a lower electrode 12, an emitter part 13 made of a dielectric, an upper electrode 14, an anode 15, and a control electrode 61. When the driving voltage application part applies a driving voltage signal between the upper and lower electrodes, electrons are emitted to above the upper electrode. The control signal application part applies to the control electrode, an input signal enabling the control electrode to prohibit and permit passage of electrons as a control signal.
