[PROBLEMS] An injection hole forming method for an injector having grouped injection holes, in which the injection holes are processed at high accuracy to reduce a variation in properties of exhaust gas. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In the injection hole forming method for the injector (1) having what is called the grouped injection holes (10) in which the axis of the injector (1) and the axes of injection holes (10a) formed in the injector (1) cross each other at multiple points, a flat surface (10c, 10d) crossing each injection hole (10a) and including an opening of the injection hole (10a) is formed at a portion where the injection hole (10a) is formed. Further, a recess (10b) is formed in the portion where each injection hole (10a) is formed. The flat surface (10c) is formed at the bottom of the recess (10b), or alternatively, the flat surface (10c, 10d) is formed by cutting the portion where each injection hole (10a) is formed, or further alternatively, the flat surface (10c, 10d) is formed by forging the portion where each injection hole (10a) is formed.
