A microorganism producing L-threonine is provided to increase production yield of L-threonine by increasing activity of an enzyme associated with the rate-limiting step in biosynthesis of L-threonine by using metabolic control analysis, so that the L-threonine is mass produced. A L-threonine-producing microorganism, Escherichia coli TF64211(KCCM-10764), is produced by transforming Escherichia coli with a recombinant vector containing a gene encoding aspartate semialdehyde dehydrogenase(asd) which is associated with the rate-limiting step in biosynthesis of L-threonine. The L-threonine is produced by culturing Escherichia coli TF64211(KCCM-10764). |
