<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for separating and compressing empty cans, which apparatus has a simple and compact structure, and can be provided at a low price. <P>SOLUTION: A separating mechanism 3 has configurations such that a belt conveyor section 30 having a magnet body 31 therein is provided in a tilting state, and aluminum cans 2A dropped on a carriage start position 30A from an upper empty can inlet portion 1 slide down, but steel cans 2B dropped on the carriage start position 30A are stopped by being attracted by the magnet body 31 and are carried to a carriage end position 30B by means of the belt conveyor section 30, and then slide down. A can crushing mechanism 4 is composed of an aluminum can receiving section 40 for holding and crushing the aluminum cans 2A slid down from the carriage start position 30A of the belt conveyor section 30 and a steel can receiving section 41 for holding and crushing the steel cans 2B slid down from the carriage end position 30B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
