PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make air flow paths between a solenoid control valve assembly and an adhesive control module short and linear.

SOLUTION: The solenoid control valve assembly 112 of the hot melt adhesive dispensing system 110 comprises a pair of inlet port 124 and outlet port 126 formed in a first side wall 122, a pair of quick-connect fittings 154 and 156 attached to be fitted to holes 150 and 152 formed in the adhesive control module 114, so that fluid flow paths for control air become substantially short and linear.
