PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact switch which can prevent malfunctions and increase the detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The MR sensor 102 changes the output voltage depending on the approaching and separating action of a magnetic material 104, when a magnetic flux 103 present in the MR sensor 102 changes its direction. A comparator 303 decides that the switch is turned on to output the appropriate signal to each section, when the changed output voltage exceeds the threshold preset by the designer.
