PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head stack assembly, and a hard disk drive having the same reducing both off-track due to disk vibration and off-track due to arm bending. SOLUTION: The head stack assembly is provided with a swing arm 113 rotatably coupled to a base member 101 of the hard disk drive, a connection plate coupled to an edge part of the swing arm biased toward a center side of a disk of the hard disk drive, a suspension 120 which has a plurality of coupling parts 126, 127 coupled to the connection plate and in which the coupling part 126 relatively closer to the center of the disk among a plurality of coupling parts is coupled to the connection plate at a position of lower than of the coupling part 127 further from the center of the disk, and a head slider 130 which is set to the edge part of a suspension and which is a read/write medium of data.
