PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration/management system for master definition information which can carry out unified management of master definition information of a system which uses a plurality of applications. SOLUTION: A main system 40 is provided with a master definition table 23; a data reference screen 41, etc. A master maintenance system 50 is provided with; a master management table 30; a master definition registration screen 51, etc. When master definition information on the master definition table 23 is updated, data to be changed is inputted from the master definition registration screen 51, and registered in the master management table 30. In the master management table 30, data such as "objective system", "definition name", "code value", "effective date (start)" are registered. When change data are registered, the master maintenance system 50 performs daily processing based on the "effective date (start)", and reflects the change data of the master management table 30 to the master definition information in the master definition table 23.
