<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction heater which induction heats by supplying desired power to heating objects having different material. <P>SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic induction heater, the inverter has an upper and a lower arms constituted of at least two switching elements connected in series, and includes a first upper and lower arms and a second upper and lower arms. A first resonance load circuit constituted of a heating coil and a first resonance capacitor is provided at the output terminal of the first upper and lower arms, and a second resonance load circuit constituted of the heating coil and the first and second resonance capacitors is provided between the output terminals of the first upper and lower arms and the second upper and lower arms. A switching means to separate the second resonance load circuit from the output terminal of the second upper and lower arms is provided, and the first resonance capacitor serves as a snubber capacitor for the second upper and lower arms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
