PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact valve gear enabling valve open lift of an engine valve to change without steps while securing excellent property of following a valve drive cam. SOLUTION: Other end parts of a pair of link arms 19A, 20A one end parts of which are supported by an engine main body 1 with enabling oscillation around an axis line in parallel with rotation axis line of a valve drive cam 16, are directly connected to a rocker arm 18A including: a valve abutment part 15 on which an engine valve 6 abuts; and a cam abutment part 17 which touches the valve drive cam 16 with enabling relative rotation around an axis line in parallel with the rotation axis line. At least one of the one ends of both of the link arms 19A, 20A is supported by the engine main body 1 oscillatably with enabling movement of the valve drive cam 16 without steps in a plane orthogonal to the rotation axis line.
