PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint which can rigidly couple both segments to each other by one-touch operation, and is inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: A male joint 1 is formed like a rod, and has a front constriction 2A and a rear constriction 2B formed therein across an axial interval, and a tapered front protrusion 3A and a tapered rear protrusion 3B defined by the front and rear constrictions 2A, 2B, respectively. A female joint 4 is formed of: a pipe body 6 which has a front notch 5A and a rear notch 5B formed in a peripheral portion thereof across an axial interval; a front key member 7A and a rear key member 7B which are fitted into the front and rear notches 5A, 5B, respectively; and tensile springs 8 for applying elastic force to the front and rear key members 7A, 7B. When the male joint 1 is completely inserted into the female joint 4, the front and rear key members 7A, 7B are engaged in the front and rear constrictions 2A, 2B, respectively.
