PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive layer that excels in both of the capabilities of delivery within a substrate treating apparatus and removal of foreign matter adhering in the apparatus and thus is suitable for use in a cleaning sheet, and to provide a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: This adhesive layer comprising the cured product of a radiation-curable or thermally setting acrylic adhesive and having a planar surface is characterized in that the adhesive layer has discontinuous concave portions on the surface of the adhesive layer, and planar surfaces except the concave portions have center line average heights (Ra) of 0.01 to 0.3μm.
