摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lead free low melting point glass prevented from yellowing due to silver reaction and having high visible light transmittance. SOLUTION: The lead-free low melting point glass is B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-ZnO-BaO-Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-based lead-free low melting point glass containing 0-7 wt.% SiO<SB>2</SB>. 13-36 wt.% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 5-9.9 wt.% ZnO, 20-63 wt.% Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 3-27 wt.% BaO, 0-10 wt.% R<SB>2</SB>O (Li<SB>2</SB>O+Na<SB>2</SB>O+K<SB>2</SB>O), 0-10 wt.% RO (MgO+CaO+SrO), 0-8 wt.% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-2 wt.% CuO, 0-3 wt.% La<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-2 wt.% CeO<SB>2</SB>, 0-1 wt.% CoO, 0-1 wt.% MnO<SB>2</SB>and 0-5 wt.% TiO<SB>2</SB>. The ratio (B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>/ZnO) by weight is≥1. The coefficient of thermal expansion at 30-300°C is (65-95)×10<SP>-7</SP>/°C and the softening point is≥500°C and≤600°C.
