PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a peeling-off force required for opening a plug to be weakened in a plug opening apparatus for removing a seal plug from a sample receptacles such as blood sample tube. SOLUTION: A tab 20A is held by a chuck mechanism 36 and the tab is pulled up relative to a blood sample tube 16 to remove a seal plug 20. Before or when the seal plug 20 is removed, an adhesion part of the seal plug 20 is heated by a heater 38. Therefore, a plug opening process is carried out by the weakened adhesion force of adhesive agent. means for generating laser or means for ultrasonic heating may be used in place of the heater 38.
