PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit bearing allowing realizing of further reduction of weight by applying a proper rust-prevention treatment. SOLUTION: This hub unit bearing 1 is provided with a hub 2 integrated with an inner ring 3 on an outer peripheral surface of a center shaft part and an outer ring 4 connected to the inner ring 3 of the hub 2 via a rolling element 5. A rust-prevention film having a rust-prevention effect by shot-peening using nonferrous shot materials (metal nobler than iron, metal baser than iron and thermoplastic resin, etc., for instance) is formed on a part of an external surface of at least the hub unit bearing 1.
