PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cool/warmth keeping efficiency for beverages inside a beverage container in a cup holder. SOLUTION: This holder comprises a shutter 4 provided to an insertion port 3a for a beverage container of a case 3, a drive mechanism driving the shutter 4, and a locating element provided inside the case 3. The shutter 4 forms a throttle opening 4a with a variable opening diameter opposed to the insertion port 3a, and closes the insertion port 3a while a portion of the insertion port 3a opposed to the throttle opening 4a is released. The drive mechanism drives the shutter 4 in a direction for drawing the opening diameter of the throttle opening 4a when the beverage container 2 inserted in the insertion port 3a and the throttle opening 4a is located on the locating element. Accordingly, a conditioned air introduced inside the case 3 from an air-conditioner can be restrained from escaping from the insertion port 3a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
