PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly disperse a metal sulfide by forming the same into fine particles to suppress a sulfur smell in a manufacturing method of a resin molded product having near infrared absorbability and visible light transmittance. SOLUTION: A base resin, a metal compound and sulfur and/or a sulfur compound are mixed in a ratio that the molar ratio of the metal and sulfur in the metal compound and/or sulfur in the sulfur compound is larger than 9:6 and the ratio of sulfur becomes less than 1:10. The three components are heated to a meltable temperature to be kneaded to synthesize metal sulfide fine particles by reacting the metal of the metal compound with sulfur and/or the sulfur of the sulfur compound so as to be dispersed in the base resin.
