PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device using a disc-shaped blade capable of stably attaining good cutting performance for an object to be processed formed from rigid and fragile material. SOLUTION: The blade 1 is sandwiched by the first flange 12b with a cap and a second flange 12a with a cap, tightened by a flange nut 13 to be fixed and retained, and fixed to a rotating shaft 3 by a tightening nut 4 screwed into a threaded portion of the rotating shaft 3. Besides, silicone grease can be used for improvement of sealing among the blade 1, the first flange 12b with the cap, and the second flange 12a with the cap. Moreover, the flange 12a with the cap is integrally formed with a sleeve 10. A fixing-side rotary transformer 9a is positioned in a case 11, and an ultrasonic oscillator (not illustrated) is connected with the fixing-side rotary transformer 9a through a lead line.
