The arrangement has a switching device (U) providing a voltage in a condition and another voltage in another condition for operating a circuit (S). The switching device is designed in such a manner that a provided voltage (VS) for operating the circuit changes linearly with time from the former voltage to the latter voltage during switching from the former condition to the latter condition. The switching device has a transistor (T1) and another transistor (T2), which is connected in parallel to the former transistor. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a circuit arrangement.
