摘要 A liquid crystal display is provided to lower an absolute voltage value of a second sub-pixel electrode by a capacitor and increase an absolute value of a voltage of a first sub-pixel electrode to increase a difference between the voltages, thereby improving side visibility while preventing lowering of transmittance. A first source electrode(165) is overlapped with an nth gate line partially, and is connected with data lines. First and second drain electrodes(166,167) are overlapped with the nth gate line partially, and are separated from the first source electrode. A first sub-pixel electrode(181) is connected with the first drain electrode electrically. A second sub-pixel electrode(182) is connected with the second drain electrode electrically. A second source electrode(168) is overlapped with an (n+1)th gate line partially, and is connected with the second sub-pixel electrode. A third drain electrode(169) is overlapped with the (n+1)th gate line partially, and is separated from the second source electrode. The third drain electrode is overlapped with the first sub-pixel partially and is overlapped with a maintenance electrode line partially at the same time. A first display plate is opposite to a second display plate having a common electrode. A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first display plate and the second display plate.
