A plasma display device and a power off sequence method thereof are provided to prevent malfunction of the device by turning on/off a switching device of a driver in state that supply of the input voltage to a driver is interrupted. A power supply unit(100) supplies a power, and a driver(200) has plural switching devices to drive a plasma display panel using a voltage and a current supplied from the power supply unit. A logic unit(400) outputs a drive gate signal to the driver to control operation of the switch devices. A panel unit(500) has plural address electrodes and plural first and second electrodes arranged to cross the address electrodes, and displays image data according to operation of the driver. An off sequence processor(410) outputs a control signal for interrupting supply of the drive gate signal when a standby voltage falls to a critical voltage.
