<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus printing a document with a ground pattern with a color density desired by a user. <P>SOLUTION: When ground pattern printing is instructed (S11), a printer controller activates a virtual driver (S12). The virtual driver temporarily stores a document into a RAM. In this case, the virtual driver develops document data on the RAM as file check, and detects an image and a non-image from the document (S13). Then, a background pattern is set only on the detected image (S14), the document data spooled in the RAM are transmitted to a printer driver and added only to the portion having the set background pattern, and the document data are transmitted to the printer driver (S15) and printed (S16). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
